Sorry Kristina,

A journal entry does not allow embedding of an iframe (even if added to
allowed iframe sources'.

That effectively means that embedding can ONLY be done in Pages.

Journal entries can be text and images alone with attachments. However,
no embedding for journal entries.

We are using Mahara for our students to document their everyday clinical
encounters, like a log and 90% of them have and use a smartphone to
write their journals.

Pages are rarely used while the journal entries are the primary means of
adding content - this, of course, is our experience.

Thus, this kind request.

  Ability to embed Media other than images to Journal Entries

Bug description:
  The Journals currently allow only Text and Images to be posted as Entries. 
  In Healthcare Education, Videos, Audio and other rich Media are required to capture and demonstrate learning.

  Therefore, this feature request is to ask for the ability to post more
  than Images to the Journal Entries.
