[Bug 547794] Re: Make required field checking use the profile page
As we use the auth_check_required_fields() to also check non-profile
fields now, eg if one has accepted the strict privacy T&C, we should
stay with status quo

Title:
Make required field checking use the profile page
Status in Mahara:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
StephenC suggests that we could use the profile page for doing
required fields instead of the auth_check_required_fields form.

Sounds sensible. Some complications:
- that form also does password reset, IIRC. Would still need to handle that. Maybe that form would _just_ do the password reset, then users would be checked for other required fields and redirected to profile if necessary.
- if a field not on the first profile tab was required, we'd probably want to show that tab first, or somehow highlight tabs with required form elements on them.
