We have no idea if we will be accepted yet, but we are definitely going to apply

We have as always got a few resources that you can take a look at:
https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/community-contributing-to-the-mariadb-project/

And when you are ready to contribute code:
https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/contributing-code/

And we do tag things with “gsoc” in Jira:
https://mariadb.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=labels%20%3D%20gsoc15
https://mariadb.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=labels%20%3D%20gsoc14
https://mariadb.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=labels%20%3D%20gsoc13

We haven’t done the gsoc16 tag yet, but that’s when we get accepted

I hope the above resources are helpful to you

Kind Regards,
Colin Charles
