Re: Questions on image data should be stored in database or not?

 

This is not a web app. So the database may be on the same machine as the
desktop app. The user/operator may be able to access the location where the
images are stored in the file system.

if the folder where you store them is not reachable from the web and you
bypass the images via PHP based on authentication it's fine to only store
the path, otherwise *it may be* problematic depending how sensitive the
files are
