10.2.7: innodb_flush_method = ALL_O_DIRECT
it's one thing that xtradb is gone but when the server refuses to start
instead just warn about no longer supported options this is *very bad*

BTW: "InnoDB: Cannot open '/Volumes/dune/mysql_dbmail/ib_buffer_pool'
for reading: No such file or directory" - who cares when
"innodb_buffer_pool_dump_at_shutdown = 0" is set on purpose because
writing some GB buffer_pool at shutdown takes longer than the whole
reboot of a typical server these days
