[Bug 239828] Re: 5.25 picks up channels better than any higher version
HI! I just want to make an additional comment. My brother and I just
recently noticed that our televisions in the living room and in the
kitchen takes a crap dive in receiving signals from the air when our
cellphones go off! I tried this with me-tv. My television was taking a
crap dive when my girlfriend was using her cellphone.
We are using internal antennas with amplified signals. What we are
going to do is add an external antenna within the next 2-3 months. I'll
post back later. Appearantly, there is nothing wrong with me-tv and am
using i think 5.31. The randomness of my lost signal stems from the
cellphone phoning to the phone company randomly. As I don't understand
why it does this but I can verify this when i place this on a stereo
system and the strong outbound signal causes some strong and powerfull
static sounds. My brother suggested me to turn of the cellphone when
watching tv and that is what I have been doing for a while now.
Thanks!!!!!! You guys are awesome!

Bug description:
I was just in a forum in ubuntuforums.org and I just realized something after he mentioned about the channels not locking long enough. I discovered the same issue and just found out that after 10 minutes of usage, the screen kinda locks up and skips every so often on versions higher than 5.25. For some reason, 5.25 works best in keeping channels locked.
