Thanks for answering MeTvFan. I am using Hardy Ubuntu 2.6.24-23-generic
kernel. My version of Me-Tv is 0.517-1 . And I am using ATI binary x.org
Driver for my ATI card.  I just emailed pcHDTV to see is my kernel is
compatible. I do have dvb-utils installed. scan is at  /usr/bin/scan . I
found the file us-ATSC-center-frequencies-8VSB file at /usr/share/doc
/dvb-utils/example/scan/atsc . Here are the results.
