[Bug 491700] [NEW] Certain Encrypted DVDs are showing a total file size of 40+ GB

Public bug reported:

I have recently upgraded to ubuntu Karmic. After reinstalling the VLC
package and the Medibutu packages I'm getting strange behavior on
certain "new" encrypted DVDs. They appear to run properly when played
using VLC, but if I look at the properties of the DVD I'm finding the
file size to be 40+, 80+....

Also, the DVD drive will not open unless I use the eject option from the
pop up menu of the file (right click > eject). The manual button on the
drive it self won't open the drive.

I following the steps to install libdvdcss2 per the Medibuntu website,
so I believe that I have that properly setup.

I'm running on a Toshiba Satellite L305.

Thank in advance.
