My repo config is okay, because I can get the packages located at
canonical server (/ubuntu/ in the path refers to the server URL), and I
can get the packages located at the Medibuntu server.
Please reread the problem, either 3rd party or Medibuntu works
separately, but not when both repos are checked.
To reproduce the problem, Synaptic|Settings|Repositories|Other Software,
checking either the partner repo, or the Medibuntu repo, separately,
results in a successful update. When both repos are checked an error
occurs.
I see that Medibuntu doesn't write its repo to the
/etc/apt/sources.list, but writes its repo to
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
If the problem is reproducible, then it will occur when users have both
canonical partners software and Medibuntu software repositories
selected, and will confuse users who want to load Medibuntu packages.
