[Bug 1069089] Re: Medibuntu 403 errors
I understand. The thing is, it's not as easy as it seems.
The 403 errors are generated by haproxy, not by the web servers.
Medibuntu doesn't support some apt features, and generates a lot of 404
errors. If these errors are handled by the proxy, the cpu usage is
reduced quite a lot (50% on the "main" web server, same for the number
of apache processus).
The problem is that haproxy can only generate 403 errors, not 404. I
guess I could patch haproxy... I'll look into that as soon as I can.
