OSHIP Ruby and Other Information was: Launchpad?
Hi Shinji,
I hope you do not mind that I have copied this to the mailing list?
These things are important for everyone to participate in.
I also wanted to introduce you to everyone since you are the project
lead for the OSHIP Ruby implementation (OSHIPrb).
A linnk to all MLHIM related projects is available on the MLHIM
Launchpad site at https://launchpad.net/mlhim

Yes, the reason I mentioned that was because I wasn't sure what time
constraints you are under to finish this demo and how that might affect
how quickly you get your OSHIPrb branch(es) setup.

Yes. We have struggled with this on the Python project as well and I
was not able to get any acknowledgement of it being an issue from within
the openEHR mailing lists.
We now have an excellent Python project manager (Deigo) and a great team
of developers. They are currently re-factoring the code. So maybe they
can lend some advice to you on this issue?

Yes. There is a group of us that is currently working on expressing
constraints on the reference model using XML Schemas. This essentially
eliminates the entire constraint section of the openEHR Archetype
Constraint Model. We still have things to work out since at the same
time we are working on simplifying the tools that domain experts will
need to use to create their models. We do not think that domain experts
should have to be completely knowledgeable about the inner workings of
multi-level modeling in order for them to be able to contribute their
knowledge models.
I have committed some examples that could be used as templates to help
get the conversation started. I have already shared these ideas with a
sub-group here. There are still details to be worked out but I think we
are moving forward. They are available here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~cdd-dev/cdd/mm-cds You will need to install
Freemind to use them
http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Luciana and Sergio has shown these ideas to some physicians and I know
that they received some valuable feedback but I have not heard the
details yet. Maybe they can respond here?

Okay. Great! Maybe some people here would like to join you in working
on this? I will also work to recruit more Ruby developers to join you
on the OSHIPrb team: https://launchpad.net/oshiprb
Cheers,
Tim
