Re: [Hkcr-dev] Coded Entry types question

Thanks for those links Roger. Yes, XMind has an opensource component.
In fact the earlier version I used was an Eclipse plugin. This is
the ideal code to start with because we are not using a LARGE part of
XMind anyway.

When I have an opportunity to be in touch with these developers then I
can explain further.

It would be very helpful for them to discuss their concerns on the
mailing list. This is how opensource projects work.

Tim

Originally I thought that the CCD design process was similar to
ontology development. However, early experience with Protege showed
that the lack of OO software design concepts in ontology tools reveals
significant shortcomings when trying to take that approach.

Pending a tool that takes XMind generated CCDs and creates XML Schema
CCDs. The best approach is to train just a few people on how to create
CCDs as ECore models, using the XMind file as a template.

Yes, the EPL is just fine.
