Re: [Ayatana] Shortcuts needed for putting keyboard focus onto Status Menu Indicators (ALT + 1-0)

When I press F10 the FILE menu always opens. Even if no applications are open (i.e., all I see is the desktop), there is a File menu that lets me create a new folder, etc. If an application is open, like Firefox, this has a large Application Menu and means much scrubbing to get to the Indicators. Hence, it is consistent and constant to always scrub to the left. I have the standard default Status Menu Indicators present in default order (I do not know how to reorder them, if this is even possible). Hence, it is a long scrub process to reach the Network Menu.

I feel that great work has been done to organize, define, and unify the Launcher functions and the Indicator functions. Keeping with this design, the Indicators need a set of shortcut keys like the Launcher Icons have.

@Benjamin Tegge:  ALT + F10 followed by a keypress is certainly preferable to having to scrub. BUT I really don't like having the same letter represent multiple items. I really wish this would be changed for the items in the Indicator Menus that exist currently. For example, currently in the Network Menu, the letter N correlates with both "Create New Wireless Network" and "Enable Networking". Why not just give each of these items its own letter so the user doesn't HAVE to cycle between N? Personally I think ALT + (1-0) is a better option. It differentiates from the Application Menus and eliminates the need to "discover" the letter that will land on the appropriate Indicator. One can easily glance at the Indicators and intuit what number it would be for an ALT + 1-0 command.
