[Bug 495722] [NEW] blank space appears by input bar

Public bug reported:

Version: 1.0.4
System: Mac OS X 10.5.8

There is a Mac bug with scrolling that creates a division between the
input line and the text received from the mud. After you scroll up,
scrolling back down (thus removing the two-window view) will cause a gap
to appear between the input line and the text received. This will not go
away, but will appear in the top window if you scroll once more.
