My information from Heiko is that this will be fixed with 2.0. As of
now, testing 2.0RC1 I am not seeing it any more.

I just wanted to bump this up, because it was (still is for the stable
release branch) a major inconvenience.

  output from mud broken for longer texts

Status in Mudlet the MUD client:
  New

Bug description:
  I use Mudlet 1.1.0 on Windows 7. Although the download says 1.1.1 the
  installed mudlet says 1.1.0. I play avalon.mud.de with MCCP enabled.
  When receiving longer texts from the mud (e.g. large coloured map or a
  longer room description), the output is broken. I encounter 2
  variations

  1) a broken ESC sequence, the ESC+[ is somehow ignored and the rest of the sequence is visible as text
  2) a linebreak in the middle of a line, the text continues at the next line

  The errors appear regularly at the same places in the long texts.
