Title:
no way to stop sounds from playing in Windows

Status in Mudlet:
  Opinion

Bug description:
In test3, playSoundFile() overlaps the previous sound playing, whereas
before it would stop the previous sound, and start the new sound
  playing.

However, I don't see a way to halt a currently playing sound file.
Calling playSoundFile() without an argument or a nil argument gives an
  error of 'wrong argument type'.

Tested on Windows 7 x64 (Professional)
