The first kernel builds with these patches are now available in one of kernel PPAs. Bryce, I think we were going to have a common place for

Yep, right here:

Excellent, I've pocket-copied the kernel over there.

Talking to Rafi it seems we need yet another as yet not-mainlined patch
to get n-trig to work again. So I've pulled that into my tree and
pushed an updated kernel to the multitouch PPA.

Let me know if you get to test it.

I don't have n-trig hardware yet, but I installed and booted this kernel
on a laptop with wacom/serial. Seems to come up ok, and stylus usage
works as before so not spotting any obvious regressions.

Thanks Bryce,

I've just emailed Ara and Brian for an update on the QA and they've started getting back to me with updates. If there's anything that they need from you in this regard, we'll be coordinating efforts.

Also, we're working on getting you some hardware to test with (you too, Andy). I'll let you guys know when that stuff ships.

After you do the testing, what do you think is left for Lucid? Are we pretty much done with the kernel-level stuff? I see that the tasks in the blueprint for beta 1 are either done or postponed. I think beta2 tasks need some attention...

It's my understanding that application-level work will be in Lucid + 1, and that for Lucid we're only doing kernel work. I started moving tasks out of the beta2 section and into a new Lucid + 1 section. Could you and Andy double-check my work and make sure that only the tasks required for kernel support in Lucid are in beta2?

Thanks to everyone for all the MT goodness so far :-)
