This weekend, I plan to start work on a tool to get virtual hardware to testers
and developers.  I'll put the initial description and ideas on the wiki in a
couple days.

I've asked about the status of my March 10th ntrig patch.  If we can get that
reviewed by the upstream kernel, I gather it will be easier to get that patch
applied for lucid.  If not, the alternatives are to adjust the auto configure
rules to use wacom for single touch (which will inhibit mt experimentation), or
modify evdev to match the event actions that signify taps.
