I had a look at the TUIO protocol. What is transfered is somewhat entangled with
the transfer protocol itself, but the basics harmonize with the MT protocol,
including slots. Both the 1.1 and the planned 2.0 version of TUIO extends the
scope of the protocol a great deal, possibly sacrificing simplicity and
implementation conformity.
