Mythweb Database Access Denied
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224530
You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mythbuntu
Bug Team, which is subscribed to mythplugins in ubuntu.
Status in “mythplugins” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete
Bug description:
When installing Mythbuntu 8.04 directly from the Mythbuntu Live CD, I did not set a password for Mythweb. I used the Mythbuntu Control Centre to add password protection, but when I tried to login, I received the following message:
-------------------------
Database Access Denied
You are most likely receiving this message because you
have failed to configure mythweb's database login info.
Please see INSTALL for instructions.
-------------------------
I used the Mythbuntu Control Centre to remove password protection but I still received the same error. After rebooting, the error is still there.
Here's the version of Mythweb I'm using
# sudo apt-cache policy mythweb
mythweb:
Installed: 0.21.0+fixes16838-0ubuntu2
Candidate: 0.21.0+fixes16838-0ubuntu2
