After further research, unless someone steps forward to maintain this
package, it appears that it is now abandoned.  If no-one volunteers, it
should probably be removed from the Ubuntu repo since having an outdated
(and now broken) package simply causes users confusion.

Following the recommendation by John Baab in bug #500396 I'm opening a new bug on nuvexport having broken dependencies related to libmythtv-perl (using autobuilds+testing repos).
