[Bug 492266] Re: mythtv-frontend volume problem whilw watching live tv

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 520840 ***

The portions of this report referring to the xfce OSD showing up are
actually caused by bug 520840.

As for the volume resetting, you have to set your default settings in
mythfrontend general settings for the defaults for next time.

** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 520840
   xfce4-settings shouldn't recommend xfce4-volumed

Status in “mythtv” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: mythtv

Every time I switch channels in live tv, the audio volume is reset to some internal setting. The volume should stay where I have manually set it. In addition, when manipulating the volume with an IR remote, I get the generic libnotify volume on-screen-display in addition to the mythtv theme provided volume on-screen-display

I'm using an up2date 9.10 mythbuntu on 32 bit hardware with an Nvidia card.
