[Bug 513524] Re: Power button does nothing

I suspect that this is related to an issue with shutdown in 9.04/9.10. I
believe this is fixed in 10.04. Are you able to test 10.04?

Bug description:
Mythbuntu 9.10 AMD64 on MSI Media Live, fresh install, default settings, standalone (frontend + backend installed).

Once Mythbuntu is running, pressing the power button does nothing. The box does not shut down as it used to on Mythbuntu 8.04.

If Myth is configured to give a "Exit and shut down" option when pressing escape in the first menu, selecting that option does nothing (same as selecting "No").

Explicitly configuring XFCE to shut down when power button is pressed gives a password prompt when power button is pressed.
