[Bug 220851] Re: /etc/mythtv/mythweb-config.php not created
... much later with Karmic 9.10 :
After purging and reinstalling myth, I ran into the same problem.
Thanks to this page, I copied mythweb-config.php from a backup, and it works now.
It looks like there is still a bug in the mythweb package that stops it
creating the file in some circumstances.

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Invalid
Bug description:
Clean install on kubuntu 8.04rc
Using mythbuntu weekly trunk builds or weekly fixes
Installed mythbuntu-control-centre and used it to install a combined back/frontend
Mythweb failed with:
Error at /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb/includes/init.php, line 67:
require_once(includes/config.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb/includes/init.php on line 67
I tracked this down to a missing "/etc/mythtv/mythweb-config.php". Once I created it manually (no content) mythweb worked fine.
