There are debates to be had about the location of certain mythtv related
items, including:

/var/lib/mythtv  (although that parallels nicely with /var/log/mythtv)

/usr/share/doc/mythtv-backend/contrib (this ends up causing a minor
problem because dh_installdocs v7 doesn't support empty files, which
resulted in upstream having to add contents to an empty file:
