[Bug 566067] [NEW] mythbackend starts too fast at boot and fails to discover all connected dvb cards
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mythtv
mythbackend starts too fast at boot and fails to discover all connected
dvb cards.
I have 2 DVB-T cards, only one works after reboot. When restarting
mythtv-backend manually the second one starts working.
The DVB cards:
01:05.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7131/SAA7133/SAA7135 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev d0)
01:06.0 Network controller: Techsan Electronics Co Ltd B2C2 FlexCopII DVB chip / Technisat SkyStar2 DVB card (rev 02)
I managed to get both cards working by playing with the /etc/init
/mythtv-backend.conf file.
added "and started mysql and started udev-finish" to the dependencies
start on (local-filesystems and net-device-up IFACE=lo and started mysql
and started udev-finish)
This might not be optimal, but now it works.
MythTV version: 0.23.0+fixes24158-0ubuntu2
Ubuntu Lucid amd64 with all updates as of 2010-04-18.
