[Bug 581283] [NEW] logrotate reports error re: mirobridge.log
Public bug reported:
Every day, anacron emails me with:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: stat of /var/log/mythtv/mirobridge.log failed: No such file or directory
My guess is this is because I am not using mirobridge, so there's no log
file, but /etc/logrotate.d/mythtv-backend is still configured with an
entry for mirobridge.log
I originally installed Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, and then I added the Mythbuntu
package repositories to get the latest fixes.
I am using mythtv-backend 0.23.0+fixes24669-0ubuntu0+mythbuntu2.
I can work around this by editing the configuration file (or maybe
creating a dummy log file?) but obviously it would be better if this
weren't necessary. Thanks.
