Status in “lirc” package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Binary package hint: lirc

If you chose "Linux input layer" when configuring lirc, REMOTE_LIRCD_ARGS are not set, and `/etc/init.d/lirc start` fails. Example of working configuration:

#Chosen Remote Control
REMOTE="Linux input layer (/dev/input/eventX)"
REMOTE_MODULES=""
REMOTE_DRIVER=""
REMOTE_DEVICE=""
REMOTE_LIRCD_CONF="generic/devinput.conf"
REMOTE_LIRCD_ARGS="-H dev/input -d /dev/input/event4"

Ovbiously, the configure script must ask which input device the user wants to use.
