[Bug 774880] [NEW] usb-uirt failure(s)
Public bug reported:
Using Mythbuntu amd64 with Natty and usb-uirt, the module fails to load
correctly. Logs indicate lirc tries to install the module 2 or three
times, each time failing. Something then installs it as a 232 port.
I can offer logs and such, but I'm not sure what you would need, so I'm
not sure what to offer. Feel free to contact me for more info.
$ sudo irw
connect: No such file or directory
$ sudo irw /dev/ttyUSB0
connect: Connection refused
I believe connection is refused because it didn't launch with lirc,
instead it's a normal FTDI 232 port.
Machine is a dell latitude D620 64 bit
** Affects: mythbuntu
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
