[Bug 786743] [NEW] Lack of support for Multiple receivers

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lirc

The lirc configuration file /etc/lirc/hardware.conf, /etc/init.d/lirc
and the Mythbuntu Control Center only supports the use of a single
receiver and a single transmitter. There are valid cases for using
multiple receivers, for example, the Imon Knob, which only provides
volume up, volume down and mute depending on the revision of the
hardware, plus another IR remote. If the configuration files were able
to support multiple receivers then Mythbuntu Control Center should be
able to support it too.

Currently manually editing the lirc configurations files is required to
get multiple lirc receivers functional.

** Affects: lirc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
