The remote has never worked. I've tried various things from time to time
but have pretty much given up. My TV card is the Hauppauge WinTV-
HVR-1600. Works fine except for the remote. Under remote control
properties, use supplied remote is chosen, manufacturer is set to
generic, linux input layer compatible remote is set. IR reciever is set
to linux input device, model AT keyboard, device is set to /dev/licr0.
Changing these values has never helped in the past, in fact sometimes it
makes MythTV unusable. I'm only submitting this report in hopes that it
is helpful to someone else; I'm no longer looking for a solution for
myself.
