[Bug 965609] Re: setup PIN during installation doesn't transfer any settings to installed environment in 12.04
We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve
Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The
biggest one is that upstream believes this to be fixed in the latest
version. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the
latest version?
Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a
new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer
versions.

Title:
setup PIN during installation doesn't transfer any settings to
installed environment in 12.04
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
During a frontend only install of 12.04, Ubiquity asks for a setup PIN
(presumably to autoconfigure the frontend to connect to the backend).
After installation, defaults are set for the frontend settings and the
frontend has no idea where the backend is or what it should use for
credentials.
