Title:
  Remote control "Rosewill RHRC-11001" doesn't work

Bug description:
  I have Rosewill RHRC-11001 IR:

  I run Ubuntu 10.10.
  I installed the latest avaiable lirc version 0.8.7~pre3 from official repository. My IR doesn't work.

  sudo mode2
  mode2: could not get file information for /dev/lirc
  mode2: default_init(): No such file or directory

  I tried to add my remote as it described in following article
  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LIRC#Adding_support_for_more_remotes

  However it didn't resolve the problem.

  lsusb reports my IR as
  Bus 004 Device 002: ID 147a:e042 Formosa Industrial Computing, Inc.
