Given that myunity has been removed from Quantal, this bug can't be
fixed anymore. Closing the report now.

Bug description:
  I change luancher background color as shown by the first  attached
  screen shot, but, as soon as I click on my mouse, the previous color
  comes back again (see the second screen shot).
