I installed nssbackup through Synaptic, and all seemed to install correctly.

When I start up nssbackup-config-gui, I'm able to set up my backup as I had it in sbackup.

General - use custom
Include - 
/media/smile1/smmusic/
/media/smile1/ann/

exclude -
<nothing>

destination - 
selected a destination on another local drive /media/hd300/backup-personal

time - 
specified daily at 4AM

purging - 
logarithmic

report - 
put in my email and smtp server name. The 'test mail settings' passed

Press 'backup now', I see a window pop up to say that it is starting the backup, then finishing the backup, all within about 5 seconds!

Look in the destination directory, and there are no files created whatsoever.

There must be something simple I'm missing here...
