Message #00640
[Bug 375816] [NEW] Remote SFTP destination doesn't work
Public bug reported:
I copied and pasted the address from a working Nautilus window, but
NSSBackup won't accept it as a remote destination:
sftp://username@hostname/media/partitionname/Ubuntu%20backups
I get the error
Failed : Couldn't mount 'sftp://username@hostname/' into
'/mnt/nssbackup/sftp_username@hostname' : Error connecting to ftp:
Couldn't resolve host 'sftp:'
This used to work in sbackup.
It would be best if there were some kind of file browser that would let
me select local or remote destinations graphically, and provide the
username and password in separate boxes if necessary.
Not So Simple Backup Suite 0.2-0 RC7
Ubuntu 8.10
