[Bug 613485] [NEW] Does not backup

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: sbackup

Steps to reproduce:

1: Install Simple backup from Software Centre
[search "Backup", Simple Backup Config and Simple Backup Restore are listed there, installing *-config installs both.]
2: Select from System > Administration > Simple Backup Config
3: Setup the config/use existing config
4: Select "Backup Now"

A dialogue window pops up mentioning :

"A backup run is initiated in the background. The process id is: NNNN."

Expected:
System backup is started and backup is done

What happens:
- No backup occurs.
- When we notice the system monitor , A process simple-backup-c is started and its status is listed as "zombie"
- Now if we close the dialogue window and the main config window, the processes[ simple-backup-c and simple-backup-config] just quit.
[Earlier, We can close the dialogue window + the main window and the backup,simple-backup-c, will run in the background]

Also to note is that the About box mentions the version as "Simple
Backup Suite 0.10.4"
