[Question #132536]: special chars in ssh passwords
New question #132536 on Simple Backup:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/132536
Hi everyone,
How do i type in ssh passwords containing special characters? (&?@ for example)
The gui complains about being 'Unable to mount host - unknown host name' and splatters parts of the password around the input fields. My best guess is that the dialog can't handle the @ character as it is also used as a delimiter in the ssh adress.
This is using Simple Backup 0.11.3 on Ubuntu 10.10
Any idea on how to work around this problem?
Kind regards,
Florian
