Based on a bug report originally filed by Volker Peters
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/nssbackup/+bug/696092) to keep track of this
issue.

>backup not possible if uncompressed data exceeds available diskspace even if compressed data would fit
It is hard (impossible) to determine the compressed size before actually compressing the data. That said, it's impossible to check available free space based on the size of the compressed data.

It would be sufficient, to have a checkbox named 'check for available
diskspace'.
