I'm on Ubuntu Precise Pangolin 12.04 
my sbackup version is 0.11.4
I installed it from the repositories 


I'm using the su forms of sbackup i.e. the desktop files that launch with gksu 
/usr/share/applications/sbackup-config-su.desktop
/usr/share/applications/sbackup-restore-su.desktop


when I try to look at my backups through sbackup-restore I can see the dates for which there are backups but I cannot access the backups the treeview thing remains grayed out and closed
