It's not hard to keep it user-friendly, see the example of manjaro, 
they put all you need (including Steam and Netflix) on a Arch-based 
distro. And they provide with all the yaourt and pacman power. At same 
way they put the distro in all flavors, from gnome and kde to openbox 
and awesome.
