Message #00019
Dell Updates
Team,
We are about to push a series of updates to the dell-mini-proposed
repos. There is some information about this push that you should be
aware of.
The update will come in two parts. The first includes new Xserver and
Kernel, as well as a new keyring and sources.d.list
The second occurs after reboot, and recheck by update manager. You will
be automatically redirected to a new repo for updates, and receive close
to 270MBs of packages.
After a second reboot, you should not see any differences in your user
experience. The only visible change will be if you create a new user.
This new user will have a different icon set. Otherwise everything
should work and look the same.
If you have any questions or comments, please post to the group mailing
list, and as always, log your bugs against the dell mini project.
Thanks,
Chris
