Hello Joe,
Do you mean that ubuntu doesn't recognize the camera at all? Yes, that's
interesting.
After running all test cases, the report should be stored in
~/.checkbox/submission.xml. You can open the file and take a look not only at
the test results, but also at the hardware information gathered. In my case, for
example, if a look for webcam in the report I find all the information related
to that device. If you find the information there, then I would say that the
hardware has been detected, but it's not working properly for any other reason.
Could you check that? Thanks.
