On my side, I never felt theses naming decisions for the name of the modules as importantly as you do. 

One of the thing which annoys me with too long module names is that if we want to respect the (discutable) convention to use the module name for the beginning of the models, we rapidly have very long model names, which is annoying to use and leads to bugs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-server/+bug/1174078

Also, I don't want to change the name of the module and migrate all our customers just for a matter of taste about the name of the module. 

We need to move along with this MP, so I would like to have the opinion of other people in the community, and I will adapt my mind to the majority.
