Thanks for the advice Pedro.
I don't think mere mortals like can set the "rejected" state, so "merged" was the best way to un-clutter the MP list permanently.
Moreover this MP itself is not merged but the branch is, via the official addons.
So maybe I should simply delete the MP in such a case?
