"Evergreen" Retainer in V7
Does OpenERP V7 or any module offer the feature of "evergreen" retainers?
Most of us understand what a retainer is: money given to a professional
and held in trust to cover future services. An evergreen retainer is
essentially a retainer that requires the client to keep a minimum
balance in the retainer account until an agreed upon time. For example,
when the client is first retained, they deposit the retainer fee (i.e.
$1000). As services are provided to the client, money is transfered from
the retainer account to operational accounts. Once the balance in the
retainer account decreases to less than a specific amount(i.e. $750), an
invoice is sent out requesting the client to fund the retainer account
to the original deposit amount ($1000). This is popular among many
attorneys. One of my clients is an attorney and needs this feature.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this with OpenERP?
Thank you in advance.
