Not particularly. I remember the first time someone told me that Banking
Addons were incompatible with account_bank_statement_extension. I did
not use that module and I was pretty happy with the state of the Banking
Addons project so I shrugged. Recently, someone told me that they hosed
their database by installing Banking Addons on top of
account_bank_statement_extension. I told them that this was a known
incompatiblity but that there is no way to prevent conflicting modules
to be installed together in OpenERP.
As the defacto maintainer of the Banking Addons, I do not feel forced to
collaborate and integrate with alternative solutions. I might think it
is a good thing if I see added value for my company or my customers in
any way, but I am not forced.
Cheers,
Stefan.
