The Foundraising point is a different approach complementary to the
approach proposed by Eric, let me show my point.

Eric (and i think it is a good point) want to be sure that the modules
included in the OCA projects are maintained by serious people that give the
quality because they dedicate the time to test, verify, improve quality, It
ensures less leak in terms of migration capability, future support,
documentation and maintenance, helping to community to choose (from apps
maybe) the modules certified by community because they have an strong team
working on that.

You (and i thin is a good "complementary" approach) are asking for new
features that are so expensive to cover by one team-company even by OpenERP
SA and need deep development, functional consultants, user cases and tests
and will be so used, for this reason "maybe" we need a foundraising.

For this:
(Putting in my words just trying to be empathic and understand the point).

You are asking  for an open place where only with declare the module people
can vote, and download and see the code and use it and complain, and put
bugs, and simply take the risk.

IMHO it is Launchpad + Apps.openerp.com today.

About this.

IMHO i don't use modules without fiscalice internally by myself, because i
don't know what I will find, i think everybody do this, you don't simply
put a module in production and run, right?.

IMHO the "Fiscal part" must be done as Eric is asking for and it is
expensive and time consuming, maybe has a team that is in charge of this
task is a good idea and between all can pay this dedicated team, why not?
even if some others help by free both model do not exclude themselves.

Ana, i am afraid on this doubt, let me give you "sorry for be so explicit
here" some examples where is the work Eric is asking for (because it is
almost all done by the same people today for free and we need more help
ASAP)

We have 1146 lines of code and 1010 lines of comments and total of 1617 LoC.

This is the job we can do with crowdfounding (and was crowdfounded already
by our customers), but it does not ensure the quality it ensure *"The
Feature"*.

Kindly,  I hope I clarified the difference from My point of view and help
Ana to see where the founding and contribution can go and I maintain my
initial point of view, it is good time to discuss, but to early to take
some decision or even make some action because we have a long way in front
of us yet.
