Hi Fabien,
Problem is that only "invited" users can sign up, and that "invitation" is received after placing some kind of order... Many times it will be required to accept new users without invitation, as when you want some kind of "community" around your page. This one could be accomplish reusing the parts from the checkout process... Also, some times in current login screen, the register option is not present (there should be some bug around it...) Maybe these will be fixed on "website_login" branch, but at least in current normal login remains with problems...* "website user auto enrollment", how a new "website only" user can enroll to OpenERP? The check-out process that creates a new customer at order check-out could serve as basis to an "enrollment form"... This feature already exists in OpenERP:1/ every mail sent (order confirmation, invoice) have an invitation to signup on the portal2/ the user can sign up from the website
I just tried again, but it is still the same... If you have a "website user" (public role assigned) then if user logs in he gets access to regular OpenERP menus.... like messaging, association, Human Resourses, ...* Limit access for "website only" users, so they can not access and navigate through regular OpenERP application, but stay only at "website" pages. Isn't it already like that?
Again, thanks for your great work and interaction with community !! Regards, -Mario
