in the current configuration, it seems that no one has an ACL to create
a prices.history record. The consequence of this is that no one (except
admin) can create a new product.

Deletion of a product (even by admin) also fails because of the
prices.history relation. On a newly created product, I get:

Integrity Error

The operation cannot be completed, probably due to the following:
- deletion: you may be trying to delete a record while other records
still reference it
- creation/update: a mandatory field is not correctly set
